Chapter 1

A party for the Human holiday Christmas is also serving as the "Bon Voyage" party for the BTROX, Viotan's new ship that will be crossing Dead space to the Helious Alliances new friends, the Vargr Republic.
Viotan has been promoted to the Helious Alliances Ambassador to the rest of the Andromeda Galaxy.
His old ship the Blood Talon will be transferred to the Turian Pathfinder.
Viotan's "FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE" on Novolori is now fully operational.
This is the last chance to mingle with the peoples of the Helious Nebula
before the long 128 standard MWG day flight to the Varger Republic
on the other side of "DEAD SPACE"

Word of a break through on the Angarian/Kett warp drive systems arrives during the party. Although Too Late to effect the the mission they are about to start the next morning the combined NEXUS, Angarian Scientists were able to finally figure out how the Kett were "Over Clocking" their Warp drives for their Manta Ray arks for the long voyages across deep space.
The down side is that it requires 2 Captital mounts which requires the ship to be no less than "Colossal" in size.
A toast is made to Dr. Rennab Ecurb, who is still in Cryo-Stasis due to his
contact to Telem's "Dark Crystal".

IRaul, the Lt in charge of the Vargr Space Marines assigned to Viotan mentions that the Vargr have a similar "Over Clocking" system for there jump drives,
BUT its a military secret reserved for only the closest of
the Republic's allies.
