28TH DAY OF 5TH MONTH CY 579

After pursuing the vessel that smuggled the stolen artifact form the Grey Hawk Public Library for three weeks down the west coast the the Azure Sea, we lost sight of the vessel in a fog bank last night just off the Keoland port town of SALTMARSH.

I am sending the team of adventurers hired by the Mayor to retrieve the artifact ashore and into town this morning to make inquiries as to the ship we are pursuing....
