After review of Polish Agent "Yvonne's" report on the activity of the NAZI German Ahnenerbe and the "BLACK SUN" operatives, the leaders of "Delta Green” are convinced that action must be made IMMEDIATELY. The transfer of the TEAM to Miskatonic University in Southern Massachusetts and the Formation of a special Occult Intelligence Branch (Majestic Project) in Virginia is indefinitely postponed.

The remaining sane team members including the new recruit Ben Gudsolmen (NYC Doctor) were placed on a trans Atlantic flight by USN PBY to London. After the team lands at dawn in Thames on Wednesday they will head directly to Heather Row airport and catch the 8am British Airways Flight to Okęcie airport in Warsaw.

Contact the Polish Foreign Ministry about  Transferring the "Book of Shadows Volume Two" to the Miskatonic University in Southern Massachusetts. This seems like a milk run acept the leadership of "Delta Green" think this mission is of the HIGHEST importance and must be completed IMMEDIATELY.

Wednesday August 30TH 1939  

    As on 8 am as they board the Boeing 247 for the 5 hour flight to Warsaw the has not been alseep in a real bed since they left the SS Normandie on Monday 48 hours earlier. Team is heavily fatigued.

    Team lands at Okęcie airport in Warsaw.

They hire a cab to the Hotel Bristol in Central Warsaw.

They check in and BJ reads a local Newspaper announcing a Cocktail party at the Polish foreign ministry building tonight at 8pm. The concierge directs them to a good tailor and they have Tuxedoes and Dresses made for the party. Professor Chance acquires tickets.

Team members  Alexander Arkham and William Smythe notice Eva von Falstaff leave the party and they follow her into the Ministry library where she escapes out a window leaving a trap. The trap involves hundreds of “water moccasins” which William artfully evades. Alex however finally losses all grip on reality and mentally checks out.

The team gets the snakes under control and look for the book they were sent here to acquire and in the commotion pick up two other tomes, BUT can’t find the book they were sent to find; the "Book of Shadows Volume Two". Players return to their hotel room and debate on their next course of action.

BERLIN: Hitler, citing the “Jablonkow Incident” has delivered a “Final Ultimatum” for the Poles to hand over Danzig and the Danzig corridor to East Prussia. The Polish Government has until Midnight tonight to comply.

BJ and Nigel head to the Citadel (Poland’s Pentagon) and enlist their help. Group learns that the Poles have solid information the German Heer is now fully mobilized and that the Polish Government has rejected Germany’s; “Give Germany the Danzig corridor or else”. Hitler’s Ultimatum expires at Mid Night. War looks inevitable. Colonel Anton Vyborg of Polish Military Intelligence gets permission to mount a raid on the German Embassy to get any information they can on the on obvious invasion looming over Poland. The excuse of the assignation attempt on the American scholars from Miskatonic University as an excuse for the raid.

Colonel Anton Vyborg of Polish Military Intelligence get a Polish cavalry company and two tanks together for the assault on the German Embassy.  The German staff surrender without a fight. The ransacking of the Embassy finding the staff was nearly done in their burning of all the code books and sensitive espionage files, but the team does find information on Eva Falstaff. She is a SS Ahnenerbe Colonel, a Member of both the Black Suns and the SS-SD, AND she also does NOT currently have the Book of Shadows Volume Two. She was going to acquire the “Book” at the “End of August” Cocktail party at the Polish Foreign Ministry. The book was already gone however.

A bomb at the Hotel Bristol destroys most of the teams gear and kills 2nd Lt. Alexander Arkham US Ranger and severally rattles both Nathan Chance and Margareta Novakova Sedly. Ben Gudsolmen seems ok, just a little puzzled how they survived the blast:

“The three of us were chatting in the kitchen area of the suite when a big bundle of dynomite crashed through the window. Nathan said a weird pahse in a language I didn’t understand and grabbed both our hands. Next thing I know we are standing down on the side walk looking up at the burning half missing top corner of the Hotel where our suite used to be. Weird, I must her blacked out.”

Nathan Chance and Margareta Novakova Sedly decline to give more details and are eager to leave Warsaw.

Friday September 1^st

04:45 Germany Invades Poland.

90% of the Polish Airforce is destroyed on the ground during a dawn air raid. This includes a hit on the Okecie Airport on the south end of Warsaw. German Kreigsmarine Battleship Schleswig-Holstein sailed into Danzig, Dropped anchor and proceeds to sink every ship in the harbor. The Vistual River’s exit to the Baltic is sealed. The Polish military forces in the city held out until September 7^th. Fierce fighting all along the frontier.

Saturday September 2^nd  

 1^st air raid on Warsaw proper. The Military district near the Citadel is hit. Polish Army is holding its own but with heavy losses.  Krojanty is lost to the Germans as their 4^th and 3^rd Armies secure the Danzig Corridor.  Famous Polish charge of Cavalry against German Armor Cars and Tanks Is all over the New York and London Times the next day.

Britain and France drag their feet trying to find a Diplomatic solution through the League of Nations. German is given until Midnight to cease all fighting or face a two front war with Britain France and Poland.

The Former American assistant military attaché to the American embassy in Warsaw; Alex Samson is found in the Europejski Hotel after Anna (Colonel Mercier's Lover from the League of Nations office in Warsaw) revels that she had the "Book of Shadows Volume Two". She stolen it from her ex finance Maxim Comeroffsky Soviet journelist (and NKVD agent). She traded it to Eva Falstaff for Alex.

September 3rd  

Britain and France Finally declare war on Germany and go into full mobilization. German tanks are finally start breaking through the Polish lines as the Polish artillery units at the front lines run out of ammo.

September 4th  

Polish Army begins its retreat to the Vistula River. Poland’s boarder defenses have all but collapsed except at Modlin north of Warsaw. The Poles however have been able to fall back in good order and their armies although battered are still largely intact.

September 5th  

The German Armies largely halt their advance and regroup, their Generals waiting to see what the British and French are doing. The British are currently shipping their small BUT elite core of the BEF over to Cialis, while the French have built up forces behind the Maginot Line.

September 6th  

Polish Army counter attacks near Lodz, lasting until the 11^th. They push the German 8^th Army back 30 miles to the Warta River.

September 7th  

French start their Offensive on the West front at Saar opposite the Maginal line. Capturing 5 miles of no man’s land just outside the city Fortifications know was the “Western Wall.” They advance no further.

September 8th  

German Armies renew their offensive and this time using massed Panzers to break through the Polish lines, they capture large numbers of Polish troops.  The German 19^th Armor corps reaches the North East corner of the city of Warsaw.

Monday September 11th  

The Polish Armies’ counter attack from the 6^th is now over and the German Armies use their Panzer Divisions to encircle the Polish troops.

German commandos attack across the Vistula River and attempt to take the Telephone Exchange. They are repulsed.

BJ and Alex help stop the German assualt on the exchange, BUT Eva Flastaff, who was at the Franconia Hotel Escapes. BJ and Alex blow up the Franconia Hotel in an attempt to kill Eva but fail. Bj and Alex are trapped in a sewer for 5 days until the rest of the team dig them out.

September 16th to 17th

21:15 (9/16) Colonel Anton Vyborg calls the last war meeting in the Citadel. Plans for the last train out is made. The last train out of Warsaw leaves at  07:00 (9/17) heading south.

The USSR invades Poland with 40 Divisions from the east.

The team take this last train out and ride it to Lublin. They have oders from Arkham to transfer to another train at Lublin and head northest, arround the Germans inot Latvia to the city of RIga where they will take a steamer to Helsinki. It is believed that Eva Falstaff has gone there for some reason with the  "Book of Shadows Volume Two".

September 18^th to 22nd  

The Polish armies’ Warsaw Armored Brigade and its 1^st Tank Battalion attempt to keep the southern approach to Warsaw in the largest Tank battle in the war to date between Tomaszow- Lubelski and Lublin. The Poles after four days of hard fighting had lost.

The team is stuck in Lublin for 4 days while the Polish Army makes its last stand.

Friday September 22^nd 

The German Armies capture the last corridor into Warsaw in the south and the city is now completely surrounded.

The Team gets the last train out of Lublin heading north to Riga.

Saturday Friday September 23rd  

The German Armies capture the last corridor into Warsaw in the south and the city is now completely surrounded.

The Team's train is stopped on the boarder with Latvia by the Soviet army and the team is captured and sent to Sovkoz Karelia Oktabr-2 (lose translation: Karelia Provience Soviet Labor Camp #2) on the Kem river near the White Sea in Northern Russia.

September 28^th

Polish forces in Warsaw surrender.

September 29^th to October 6^th  

The remaining Polish units are ordered to fight their way to the Romanian boarder and attempt to get transport to Britain. The Last Polish troops surrender October 6^th.
