A scouted out by John Gold in his trusty Mercedes SUV.
An abandoned small village centered around an ancient mosque.
Before the civil war, there were about 200 people living here. By 2020 the village was abandoned.
The village has been occupied be various groups since 2014. The last was a SAA mechanized platoon, but they left a week ago when the COVID-19
Arrived in AL"Kawm.
Now the town has new occupants. They must have moved in right after the SAA unit left.
John was careful not to make contact and was successful in returning to AL'Kawm without being followed.
