OPERATION:Sonnenblume
BACKGROUND
August 8th 1940: German forces complete the occupation of the UK
October 25th Hitler announces in Paris that the BUF, Spain, Vichy, Hungary, and Romania have all now joined the AXIS.
November 12 to 14th: AXIS-Soviet Talks, ends indecisively. Both sides agree to continue to settle their grievances peacefully and to resume talks in about 6 months.
January 6th 1941: FDR makes his “Four Freedoms Speech”.
January 8th 1941: Free British forces complete the evacuation of 20,000 civilians
(99% of the civilian population from Gibraltar) are on Atlantic convoys to Canada.
January 10th 1941:
· · President Roosevelt submitted H.R. 1776, better known as the Lend-Lease bill, to Congress.[15]
· The results of a Gallup poll were Americans are asked, "In or out? On the question of the United States entering the war against Germany and Italy, how would you vote — to go into the war, or to stay out of the war?" 88% said stay out, 12% said go in.[7]
January 15th 1941:
German, Spanish and BUF forces invade Gibraltar. They are meet with only token resistance.
February to March 1941:
German and Italian bombing raids of Malta increase to a daily occurrence.
By March 1st the last of the RAF planes is destroyed on the Valletta Airfield.
The Free British Royal Navy pulls out Malta that morning that morning redeploying to Alexandria Egypt.
March 2nd to 14th 1941:
German and Italian invasion of Malta.

Special Agent Nathan Chance of the United States Government “Special”
investigation team “Delta Green” assists the Free British agents of Section N as they
convalesce and search for information on the various volumes of the Books of
Shadow, which arrived here with Napoleon in 1798.
The Mission:
According to “N” this is the best place for the “Special Agents” to find a lead on the arcane books.
You’re Objectives:
1. Protect the “Special Agents” from capture by AXIS Ahnenerbe forces.
2. Find out if the Book of Shadows Volume Four and Five exist.
4. Get the agents and the books to safety. "N" believes the AXIS lead by General Rommel and his DAK will be coming to Egypt VERY soon.
The team finally gets some leads. Captain Arthur Waugh of the Royal Marine Commandos may have purchased "Two" volumes of the Books of Shadow In Alexandria just recently. He is currently in Tobruk. So they team gets a ride on the "Tobruk Express" that leaves the night of April 17/18 and arrives in Tobruk Friday April 18th morning.

Left Alexandria on night of April 17/18, arrived in Tobruk April 18th.
Scene two : Tobruk
The Seige of Tobruk: April 18th Tobruk has roughly 30k Commonwealth troops, 18k of which at Australian, rest are Free British, Canadian, Polish, and Czechoslovakian.The team searches Tobruk for Captain Arthur Waugh and finially fine him marching abord the HMS Glengyle. Cmdr MacTagart uses his MI6 rank to get the team onboard. The ship sails east "supposedly" for Alexandria. The find the man, but just as the raid on Bardia begins.
Scene three The coast line between Tobruk & Bardia, on the night of April 19/20th
The Raid on Bardia : Objective is to destroy Rommel's forward supply depots there.
The port town turns out to be only lightly defended and the 1000 British commandos tear the town up destroying the depot.
The team with the aid of 5 Royal Marine Commandos capture the German U-Boat U3.
The U3, a Type IIA German Submarine is an older model and was supposedly decommissioned into a training submarine a year ago. Captured documents on the U-Boat state the it was handed over the the SS-Annenweird and was used to create the Tsunami that destroyed the 350,000 troops at Dunkirk in Late May 1940.
Worst, a letter onboard to the SS OberCaptain Edelraud Wassermeister
(Code Name: The Fish Witch) says that once she completes her mission here to destroy Tobruk, a new Type IXD U-Boat will be ready for her to prepare for there campaign in the Americas.
The team finds a portal to another dimension in the stern of the boat. Team members Scout, Aspen, Agent W, and Dr. Jong enter the dimension in an attempt to stop the "Fish Witch"
Scene Four
The team gets lost at first in the jungle like coast like of the world beyond the U-3's portal.
after wandering around in the jungle for 84 minutes they finally reach a clearing, its by the shoreline of a sea. There is a massive temple and a "Stone Henge Like " circle on the spit of shore land just beyond it.
The team stealth fully approach un noticed and observe a ceremony conducted by the Fish Witch with the "WATER" Book of Shadows. Along with the Fish Witch is her 3 assistants 2 Deep Ones and a SS Nachtruppen guard. Combat ensues, and the ceremony is disrupted. Agent Aspen is almost killed. Two of the Fish Witch's 3 assistants and the Nactruppen is killed( it took a grenade to kill it). The Fish Witch is injured but escapes along with one of her assistants. Agent Aspen destroys the "WATER" Book of Shadows in the combat.
After the battle the team notes a flare in the sky and follows it back to the now shrinking portal and the barely escape back to their dimension.
Scene Five(Epilogue) May 2nd 1941
The team returns to Alexandria with the U-3 and receive a 1million pound bounty
The U-Boat had a functional ENIGMA MACHINE
The Siege of Tobruk settles into a stalemate as the last AXIS attack on April 30- May 1st is a failure. General Rommel and his DAK are stalled at the Egyptian boarder due to supply issues with continued siege of Tobruk.
The team never did find Captain Arthur Waugh
"N" from section N visits the team and is VERY upset with the teams lost of the Book of Shadows Volume 3 "WATER". He threatens dire consequences if they team fails him again.
Alexander Viscount Towton; the leader of Section M, and the team's direct superior is VERY Pleased with the teams success at saving Tobruk and gives them some time off
Special Agent Nathan Chance finds and buys an old crusader viva/castle outside of the
Alexandria city limits. The team decides to relocate there and await instructions from
Towton for their next mission.
