Scroll I: Three Kings on a Beach

ATLANTIS is a 5e version of "Twilight of Atlantis" for 3e DnD. Its Plato's Atlantis but set in the 3rd millennium. The action starts on the beach below the cliffs of Tel Kabri (the legendary keep on the southern boarder of  Phoenicia) at sunset after one of the Atlantean fleets destroyed the entire Egyptian navy in a fierce running battle off the Nile river plate.

Metageitnion (July to August)

Scene One: The Beach of Tel Kabri

Sunset on a beach of once beautiful white sands now stained red with the blood of thousands.  The fighting is now over and the last colossal Atlantean War Galley turns south after she and 9 others destroyed the entire Egyptian Navy in a fierce running battle flowing all the way up from the Nile River Plate. It’s a picric victory for Atlantis because they lost 9 of their 10 monster ships. The Egyptians lost everything however; 100 war galleys and 10000 troops along with 4 out of 5 of their cities which now occupied by Atlanteans. Only El Mallahah’Said’Suez, a small city of 11,000 is left on the north coast of the Sinai.

Two groups of people are dragging the dead and nearly dead out of the red surf that is filled bodies and the wreckage of ships.

The 1st is a group of men dressed as carpenters and labors. (Noah and his family)

The 2nd is Canaanite soldiers of the Phoenicia who are being supervised by a trio of well-dressed individuals. (Hecate, Horus and Nyarlathotep)

One more thing catches one’s eyes at the point, not all the bodies in the surf appear to be human…

(There are bodies of “Deep Ones” and “Sahuagin” as well. It appears the two races were killing each other below the waves while the humans and Atlanteans were killing each other on the surface).

Scene Two: The Legendary Palace Keep of Tel Kabri on the southern border of Phoenicia

After sleeping in most of the day after spending the night carrying the Egyptian survivors up the cliff to rest in the shades orchids surrounding the Keep, the group is summoned to evening meal with the Phoenician lord that runs the Keep: Inssmyth, High Priest of Dagon.

The group may be surprised to see a crowd of over 30 delegates and their entourages in the crowded courtyard. Their host is odd in that he never leaves his bath at one corner of the Courtyard.

After dinner the delegates circle around the bath and discuss an alliance against the Atlanteans.

Scene Three: The Mu delegation disappears in the night and Mal’Hiss; the Assassinator for the Mu pays the rest a visit. A “whirling sound” awakes the group just in time to save them and some of the delegates…

Scene Four: The next morning Alliances and Neutralities are declared.  Nyar offers a job.

Scene Five: The next day the group leave with an armed caravan for Tyre where they catch a ship for Athens Greece a week later.

The outcome of Inssmyth’s summit at Tel Kabri:
