MARCH 7th 2300

The Briefing

Follow the lead of a murdered Scribble smuggler, a "Traveler" and Spacer, named Ronald Terrell.

Scene of the Crime : outside the main domes in the "transit" area

(Red light district)

Looking for witnesses.

MARCH 11th

Team gets some leads from a juvenile gang named "the Sons of Liberty".

They trade information fro protection.

Lead one: A list of the Dealers in Liberty

Lead two: A witness (Just Jack) that can ID the Killer: "Kay Ballard".

Lead Three: The connection to the Thought extinct political movement

"NEW AMERICA" which is seems to be alive, and even thriving on this colony world.

MARCH 15th

Surveillance of the Dealers pays off

Agents catch the State Auditor, Cruz Freidman taking brides.

Agents try to get him to flee bargain, but fail.

MARCH 17th

Setback:Freidman walks.

MARCH 19th

Setback: Just Jack is found dead in the US District Court House

New Lead: Killer was able to get in and out while restocking the

"Americo" vending machines. Americo states that the Van was stolen.

MARCH 21st

New Lead: Beth Rodriguez, a Liberty College student comes forward with information on a Army Srgt Robert Elias (Her now ex boyfriend). He has been smuggling in guns for "NEW AMERICA" in exchange for "Scribble".

He's been doing business out of the "Dollhouse", a SexBot brothel in the Transit  area of Liberty.

MARCH 22nd

Fort Patton :Interview with General Masazumi O'Dea confirms that they do have a "Scribble" problem, with currently 600 troops hospitalized from the drugs, and another 600 dishonorably discharged so far this year. For a installation of 30,000 troops that is not good. The current moral is low, and the General is trying to current this with more entertainment facilities being brought online on base. Passes t Liberty have been curtained of late however as the General tries to deal with the current drug problems on base. He is more than happy to let the Agents interview Sgrt Elias to see if these charges are true. They never get the chance, The Sgrt is nowhere to be found on Base.

Base Security reveals that he left through the front gate with a falsified pass just as the agents were sent in to see the General.

General O'Dea orders the search of Srgt Elias's office(he is an Army Quarter Master), and several bags of "Scribble" are found. The Team, assisted by a warrant for Srgt Elias's arrest and a platoon of MPs head to the "Dollhouse"

In the gun fight that ensues, Srgt Elias is killed, BUT Kay Ballard is captured.

MARCH 24th

In a Plea deal Kay Ballard is spared the death penalty for turning in evidence that "NEW AMERICA" has a deal with the Local Americo company for the smuggling of "Scribble" off world and shipments of weapons on world.

Raids on Americo finds no evidence of drug production, and the Mega Corp gets away with a slap on the wrist of petty smuggling.

MARCH 28th

State Auditor, Cruz Freidman is forced to step down and is arrested for taking brides.

Mary Gould, is voted by the board of directors of Americo to retire.

Three weeks later Ms Gould's personal automobile mysteriously explodes killing her and two of her three lovers.

On a positive note, local  "Scribble" availability suddenly has dropped and the usage at Fort Patton is now non existent. Passes are once more being freely given out to the troops and moral has gone up dramatically.

This maybe the quite before the storm because the location of the "Scribble" production facility is still unknown, and now the Agents have proof of a large "NEW AMERICA" terrorist cell active somewhere on America's second biggest space colony; Ellis.
