Operational Briefing
Operation Orient
Operational Log: in Zero Point Achtung Cthulhu
Scene One: Operation Orient Friday, April 15th 1942 Rio de Janeiro Time : 19:19 Late Evening’s Twilight Eighteen days after leaving Rio de Janeiro the Free French Submarine Cruiser Surcouf arrives at the small port of Vohemar in Madagascar. The Axis Powers have begun their invasion of India on March 31st . Cmdr Nathan Chance USNI, and Delta Green memeber (Played by John) guide the Free French Super Sub into the safety of a Free French controlled harbor in Madagascar. Their mission: Protect an ancient "Stone Ring" Temple site from the invading Japanese forces until Allied help can Arrive on May 5th.
Scene Two: Stone Ring in the Forte' Ambre Region. The Free French Submarine Cruiser Surcouf launches its Two Walker Mechs and the team P55D to engage the team goes inland to find the lost Stone Ring Temple. Mean while the AXIS forces are on the move. The Japanese invade the Island of Cylon April 9th and the East coast of Inadia April 10th. Rommel's DAK invades Jordon from the Sinai desert April 1st and is moving on Basra in Southern IRAQ. The Team evades the VICHY French forces and secures the Stone Ring Temple. By using a Mythos Spell, they uncover a large Ruby Gem, similar to the Amber one found in the Black Pharos' Pyramid. Scene Three: Epilogue Operation Ironclad The Allied forces arrive on May 5th and Secure the Northern tip of the Island by May 7th. The 4 Japanese Mechs and 4 Midget submarines dropped off by the I-10, I-16, I 18 and I 20 failed to reach their objectives during their attack on Diego Saurez Harbor, although they did do considerable damage. The Axis forces never made it to the Temple. (Maybe they were not aware of it?) "VICHY French forces still control 80% of the Island so the Temple will need to be watched", is the advice Cmdr Chance has for the Allied High Command.
How ever a message is received May 9th Cmdr Chance and his team is needed in Istanbul IMMEDIATELY. No details are given. A USN PBY is sent to pick them up that Evening to fly them in over Persia and Turkey to Istanbul. With Rommel's Panzers coming down the north shore of the Persian Gulf, this may be a one way trip....
