05/14/2020: NEXUS War Council

Chapter 5

Opening Scene:

Voitan and the crew of the Blood Talon transfer their gear out of storage and re assign the SX3 Star Fighters to Voeld-1 Colony. Then they leave for the 2 day flight to the NEXUS.

Scene One:

Voitan receives a QTC message from Human Pathfinder Scott Ryder; The NSS Reegar was briefly sighted in the Joba system “How is that possible?” Ryder and Voitan had a brief discussion about politics then break when Ryder gets another call from the NEXUS. Voitan gets a message from Director Tan a few minutes later. The Assualt fleet at Nalesh was ambushed by the Kett. The whole fleet would have been lost if not for the 3 Pathfinder SR3s flying cover while the Fleet discharged their Drives on Gesaimo (Nalesh III).

The fleet is returning to Voeld and then the Nexus. 4 Themis GBs were lost and 4 more destroyed.

Voitan orders the Fleet to leave their Starfighters at Voeld and the rest of the fleet to return to the NEXUS.

Scene Two: The War Council

Voitan and Dr. Ecurb attend the NEXUS War council. Many things were discussed, a plan of action was decided.

1.         Give the Angaran’s Disruptor torpedo technology.

2.         Start building more Ships.

3.         Rally allies within the Heleus Cluster.

4.         Get more allies outside the Heleus Cluster

5.         Get more materials for getting the NEXUS Shipyards up to 100%

6.         Get even more materials to build even more ships.

7.         When ready launch an assault on the Cathedral on Voeld.

NSS Blood Talon Odyssey drive Upgrade

The NEXUS ship yards are only running at 50% capacity due to damage from the “Uprising” in 2817 and the shortage of materials. The NEXUS currently only has 12 functional ship construction bays. New Construction Ordered:

1 FD Corvettes

3 SP Corvettes

4 SCARs

Scene Three:

Voitan and Dr. Ecurb go shopping on the NEXUS. The Blood Talon is fitted with an Odyssey drive system.

Scene Five:

The Blood Talon leaves the NEXUS and sets a course for Port KADARA late on May 1^st 2820
