The astronauts escaped the Sydney University without picking a fight with its automated defenses.

The astronauts reached the “Domain” in down town Sydney without loss of life or limb OR even damage to their vehicles as they were chased down Broadway by Knights of the Duchy mounted on motorcycles wielding explosive lances.

Their welcome as they entered the walls of the Domain didn’t look very good at first. 100 of the Domain guards pointing crossbows and even a few assault rifles at you. BUT they kept their cool and were allowed to garage their vehicles safely at the Town Hall. They were issued ration books and allowed two weeks food and board while they get acquainted with the Domain.

That night they were summoned to the Domain senior council meeting to answer questions about who they are and what they were doing here.

The meeting proved to be explosive! Many of the older people in the audience wanted autographs. The younger council members were skeptical though: Colonel Tom left the University 23 years ago to its automated defenses, BUT movie personality Robots and AI computers seemed rather farfetched.

The representative from Lincoln CVN City vouched for the American Astronauts. It turns out he knows Flagg back from his Navy Piloting days. Randle didn’t recognize his old friend at first. Commander Cruz is now a Ghoul.

When asked about the former commander of the University Defenses, all the council can tell you is that no one from outside the “Enclave” has seen him in 20 years. Colonel Tom set up a Fortress/Farming community for the Survivors on the north shore of Sydney Bay in 1995 after cleaning out the VDS in the area.

The council closed with the statement that they would like to keep them on and will have work for them in a week or two.
