The  strange supernatural dreams of late involving Paris that have been plaguing. Allied command has stopped. However with the change in Government in England (Churchill was made Prime Minister on May 10th after Chamberlain's resignation) it appeared that the high command had forgotten about you.

That all ends when your new team leader arrives at Lt Col Jean-Francois Mercier's (The French Spy the team meet in Warsaw) suite apartments.

The Mission:

Recover the spy codenamed WONTON. 

You’re Cover: You are members of the various organizations, Government and Private working on an academic project at the Miskatonic University in Southern Massachusetts. You are fleeing the German invasion and only wish to return to Britian and America.

You’re Objectives:       

1. Go to Lille France and await contact from WONTON.

2. Get WONTON Back to London ASAP.

After arriving in Lille on the France side of the Belgian boarder on May 18th, the team waits in their hotel for 12 days for teh arrival of agent WOTON. News from the fighting in Belgium goes from bad to worse. The Allied armies are being out maneuvered and out flanked by the German Panzers. The Germans swing through Northern France on the 22nd in a drive fro the Sea. The Team discuss "Bugging Out" and making a run for it south. Edric orders them to stay and wait. They do.

May 22nd the News is that the Germ Army has reached the English channel' cutting off the BEF, the French 2nd Army and all of Belgium and Holland from France. Holland surrenders. The city of Lille is under siege from 3 sides, the only way out is to the North West and the Port City of Dunkirk. The  Team discuss "Bugging Out" again, and again Edric says they are saying put. They follow orders grudgingly.

May 29th the team receives a message from WOTON: She is in a Belgian village about 50km north of Lille. She is in trouble and needs immediate pick up.

Edric's team leaves Lille with a refugee train heading for Dunkirk. After a stuka attack that nearly kills three of their team and blow up their truck, Nigel takes the team over land through a minutes old tank battle field to Messgen.

Messgen: The team meets up with the five BEF tank crew survivors of entire wiped out British Tank battalion (52 tanks are burning wrecks across the bridge in a field outside town, another 4 British tanks are wrecks in the village square). The team encounters a traitor that signals a German Cavalry Recon squad of their presence. In a short fire fight the team kills six of the eight Germans but two escape. The team then finds WOTON in the care of the Village mayor and Doctor. She is in bad shape in what appears to be a coma.

The team retrieves her valise full of notes on a German Ahnenerbe Black Sun Operation FALL NADEL - Operation NEEDLE.

Operational Log: 12:21 GMT Wednesday, May 29th 1940

After a fire fight with the German army in Messgen Tabitha gates Edric's team to Neuport where according to some of the Ahnenerbe Black Sun papers WOTON had, a Nazi U-Boat will be docking as soon as the city is captured.

The team finds the U-Boat newly docked and most of it's crew in a Harbor master office drinking snaps. The team captures the U-Boat, BUT Eva Falstaff and Frau Wassermeister (the wall eye Nazi "Fishwitch")  along with the strange "prototype tanks some of the team saw in Finland.

Operational Log: 18:00 ??? Wednesday?, May 29th 1940

After a fight for the U3a with Ahnenerbe Black Sun troops t Edric's team escapes through a "Mechanical Gate" to what Tabitha thinks is a "Dream lands" version of 15,000 years ago before the last Ice Age.  The team arrives in a "Clearing". When they turn around the gate has vanished. The team meets a Maglemosian cave men hunting group that speaks some shaky German. The Neanderthals agree to take the team to the "Black House". When they arrive, the Neanderthals flee. The party is then attacked by a squad of Ahnenerbe Black Sun Rune Troopen.

After defeating them They enter the "Black House" a huge black marble/granite building with Long Nazi banners over large burning braziers on ether side of the large doors.

After defeating another squad of Ahnenerbe Black Sun Rune Troopen the team finds an altar at one end of the hall and a giant statue of a Squid/Bat/Demon at the other. The team sea hooded figures over a woman on the altar performing a rite of some sort.  The team chase the Hooded creatures away and discover the woman is WOTAN. They place WOTAN's unconscious body over the dream lands version and the team, and the statue gate into the Warehouse on the quayside in Neuport France. The wall doors on the side of the whare house open and SS Uberfruher Eva Falstaff and Frau Wassermeister (the wall eye Nazi "Fishwitch")  along with a company (about 100) Arcane Troopen soldiers with MP40s.

Eva thanks the team for retreiving the statue and orders the Troopen to kill them. Tabitha uses magic to levitat some steel sheets infront of them while they escape behind a smoke grenade lobbed by Nathan Chance. The team grabs a German S boat and escape accross teh channel back to Britain.

Operational Log: 10:20 Tuesday, June 4th 1940

The Mission De-Breifing (London):

The team succeeded in completing all its objectives. Their success is muted by the loss of over 300,000 British and French soldiers drowned on the beach at Dunkirk on June 1st by a strange tidal wave cause by a freak tremor on the floor of the North Sea.

Operational Log: 13:20 Tuesday, June 25th 1940

With the surrender of France this morning, the team is being ordered to Dover to prepare for the German invasion of Britain.

MI6 has learned the Germans are calling it "Operation Sealion".
