One shot three scene, game episode to learn the game mechanics and introduce new characters played out at ORCA CON 2024.
Background:
It’s March 30th 1944 and the Nazi realize that that they are now losing the war. Desperate, they turn to the Anhedweird and its Black Sun priests to unleash creatures known as Ogdru Jahad to destroy Britain. The Nazi Black Sun priests have the rite taking place at Barra Head Island, a small island off the coast of Scotland. The Nazis have set up an array of strange machines around a stone circle, in the center of which stands the fabled Russian psychic Grigori Rasputin. The wizard, armed with a pair of powerful gauntlets, attempts to summon the Ogdru Jahad from their eldritch celestial prisons to the earth. Although unseen, the beasts are referred to as "knowing no care" and "heralds of pestilence", marking them out as amoral, dangerous entities.
The team and its Allied commandos guided by a young scientist named Trevor Bruttenholm (colloquially known as "Broom"), attacks the Germans and the portal is destroyed, in the process absorbing Rasputin, while Haupstein and Kroenen escape. The interrupted ritual fails. Although the Ogdru Jahad are not summoned, a boy-like, red-skinned demon appears. They dub him “Hellboy” and Bruttenholm adopts him as his son.
