Engagement: | Semi- Historical Battle Ems October 3rd 1914 6 miles south of Heligoland Bight on the North end of the Ems River estuary the British Submarine E9 sank both the German Cruiser SMS Hela on September 13th and the Destroyer SMS S116 on October 3 in the same area. After this the German Navy didn’t send any ships out alone even in the coastal areas of the North Sea. This engagement combines the two encounters to see if the two German ships could have taken down the British Submarine.
