NBC NEWS REEL for February 18th 1942

January 1st: German U-Boats start an offensive (Operation Drum Beats)on the USA east coast. Over 300,000 tons of shipping lost in the 1st month. Oil slicks cover beaches up and down the East Coast. NY Times declares it the "2nd Pearl Harbour".

January 11th: German Bombers from the Iceland bomb Boston

January 22nd : In response to the Boston bombing, USN TF15 invades Iceland.

February 1st: German Bombers from the Azores bomb NYC, the financial district in lower Manhattan specifically targeted and heavily damaged.

February 7th: German U-Boat Cruisers, U112,U113,U114, & U115 shell the NJ coast refineries. The fires are not out until the 17th. USA gasoline production down by 40%.

February 18th: The Free French Submarine Cruiser Surcouf is lost off Panama, lost with all hands.

Opening Scene: The deck of the Free French Subamrine Cruiser SURCOUF

After waiting in Panama city for their new assignment, the team is ordered to assemble after dark on a private dock at the southern end of the port.

Their Mission:

Cover Mission: Team is being was sent to Martinique to prevent the Luftwaffe from using the Vichy Airfields their for bombing Washington DC.

Delta Green Mission: The NAZI Ahnenebweird is up to something in the Bahamas Islands. The Team needs to find out what that is.

 

Scene One:

Thursday, Febuary 19th 1942

Local Time Panama City:20:00 

       The team broad the Free French Submarine Cruiser Surcouf and begin their journey to Forte-De France Martinique.

AXIS U-BOAT OFFENSIVE ON THE UNITED STATES EAST COAST

 

 

Scene Two: On the Beach

Wednesday, Febuary 25th 1942

Local Fotre de France Time : 22:00 

       144 hours and 1296 nautical miles later the Free French Submarine Cruiser

    Surcouf is submerged in the Baie de Forte de France Martinique.

    The team decides if they are going to head to the Axis HQ in the Arsenal in the city of Forte De France.

    They use Free French Resistance agent De Vires to convince the captain and crew of the VFN Avio(DE) Le Grandiere  to defect to the Allies after Cpt Irons pulls up next to the ship in the P55 masquerading as a speed boat.

    The rest of the team rides ashore in the two mechs and infiltrates the Arsenal from the sea.

    While Lanis impersonates an SS Officer for the Vichy guards the rest of the team

    Enters the Arsenal and finds the AXIS commandant's office and steals a large number of AXIS and  Ahnenebweird notes about a mission to "The Valley", a part of the Puerto Rica Trench on the edge of the Bermuda triangle. They also find information stating that one of teh Luftwaffe mission already left hours ago to hit a Site called Los Alamos in New Mexico. The Washington DC Bombing run should be launched any minute.

As the Team blows up the Arsenal, the Free French Submarine Cruiser Surcouf shells the airfield from off shore, preventing the Luftwaffe from bombing Washington DC.

Scene Three: Off to the trenchs

Thursday, Febuary 26th 1942

Local Fotre de France Time : 08:00 

       The morning after the raid, the Free French Submarine Cruiser Surcouf and Avio(DE) Le Grandiere rendezvous north of Martinique and start pursuing a

    U-Boat wolf pack heading to the "Valley" section of the Puerto Rica Trench on the edge of the Bermuda triangle...
