Scene One: Alacrity

Thursday, June 4th 1942

Azores Time  21:00 Late Evening’s Twilight

Opening Scene:

Thursday June 4th: Mid Atlantic Ocean

The players fly in on a USN K Class long range Recon Blimp; a 10 man airship.

Professor Minnesota is keeping the ship invisible on and off using an arcane spell.

They have intelligence from ULTRA that the SS Ahnenerbe (the Nazi Occult Division) is up to something in the Azores.

Max and Ian Fleming (who returned from Istanbul with Agent Ardent) search the islands from air looking for the ritual site.

Cover Mission:

The team is assisting the Allied navies in Operation Alacrity in the Azores. The Axis is moving a large convoy of 250,000 troops South America to support the Brazilin Nazi  party in their civil war in San Paulo. The Allies are attempting to destroy the Convoy and the Luftwaffe air base at San Miguel Azores (a base the Germans had been using to bomb the American East Coast) as it stops of in the Azores and is vulnerable.

Delta Green/ Section M Mission background:

The SS Ahnenerbe (the Nazi Occult Division) is planning something big in the Atlantic, the Indian Ocean and the Pacific for June 6th 1942.

ULTRA intercepts say they will be "Opening a DREAMLANDS GATE system" so to do this they need to co-ordinate rituals in the Azores, Midway, and Diego Garcia simultaneously.

Allied High Command thinks this is all a lot of smoke covering the AXIS operations in those areas during the same week.

Delta Green and Section M know better.......

Scene One: USN K-7 airship with Max  Minnesota observing the air strikes on Ponta Delgada Luftwaffe base on San Miguel

Scene Two: Night of the Big Guns. Battleships and Heavy Cruisers fight

it out west of  San Miguel an hour before mid-night. Max and Ian in their

K-ship search for where Ahnenerbe and their Black-Sun masters are

preparing their Ritual to open their  DREAMLANDS GATE system.

Allies lose 4 cruisers while the Axis lose only 1 before the two fleets lose each other in the dark west of the Azores.

Scene Three: The Deep Ones locate the Allied fleet for their AXIS

partners and AXIS carriers launch a Counter Attack sinking one of the

Allied carriers; the USS Long Island CVE-1, but lose more than half their

 planes.

Scene Four: Max and Ian in the Invisible K-Ship reports the location of

the AXIS Carriers and the Allied counter air attack is devastating:

12 capital ships are sunk including all 4 of their surface aircraft carriers.

Scene Five: With the AXIS transports trapped at Port Delgada,

the German Luft Fortress and the surviving warships make a run for

Gibraltar, leaving over 250,000 AXIS Troops trapped on San Miguel.

Submarines on both sides try to pick off wound ships. Max and Ian in their K-Ship continue to look for the Ahnenerbe/Black-Sun ritual site.

Scene Six: Dawn on June 6th Allied Marines Land on San Miguel.

Supported by Battleships and aircraft, 80% of the AXIS forces surrender

in 6 hours, the remainder, (mustly German forces) fight on.

Max and Ian fail to find the ritual site, but can tell the “Ritual” is being

successfully conducted at sun set (17:00 Local) and warns Allied

command.
