Chapter Nine: House of Dragons Played out October 7th through November 4th 2023 at GEEK FORTRESS Background: Time to go west.. The Deal... Alfonso and Saphira agree to help the team with both their navigation to the west and rescuing BoomBox the Bard if they can help release Prince Henry the Navigator, who is being held at the "House of Dragons" in Ceuta, North Africa. Monday August 16th1453 The Blue Flying Fish lands in Ceuta the evening of Monday August 16th1453. The airship moors at the docks and the team enter the city in the disguise of Blue Dragon Servants escorting Sapphira. They head to a specialty shop that makes dragon scale armor. There they make Murrag a +3 set. In the conversation while Murrag is being fit, the team (Or some of the team figures out, (what Murrag had already noticed) that Sapphira is not a Blue, but a mercenary “Saphire” Dragon. The team devised a plan for entering the House of Dragons, a large castle complex that holds Prince Henry the navigator. The Dragons of Tiamat are having their first “Quarterly” meeting since invading this world. It’s a 5-day affair ending with the arrival of the avatar of Tiamat on Friday. According to Sapphira’s connections, the House of Dragons, after only one day of festivities, is already out of “Live” food. The human city is emptying its jails and rounding up the homeless to be transferred to the castle along with entertainers and other specialty performers.
Tuesday August 17th1453 The team using Saphira’s disguises enter the House of Dragons just before the Tuesday “Mid-Day” festivities. While leaving Albertus in the great hall, “entertaining” the dragons the team investigates the House of Dragons dungeon and find both Henry and many metallic dragon prisoners. BoomBox blows up a lab after setting off an alarm to free a young Brass dragon, named Noria, but the team is now being pursued by Terranus, an Ancient Evil Topaz Dragon…
Tuesday August 17th1453 Contiued.... The team escapes Terranus, an Ancient Evil Topaz Dragon with the death of only Ta Bard, who took a hit with Terranus's breath weapon and was reduced to bones. The sealed the stairwell behind them with thick thorns and found themselves in the sub-basement. While there they found a rainbow egg of Tiamat. Before they exited out the "water door" to the Mediteranean, they stuffed Tiamat's egg in their Bag of Holding. They them meet up with Albertus and Manuel just before sunset. Albertus had left when the Castle went on alert with the rest of the visiting Blue dragon entourage. Manuel had moved the Blue Flying Fish to a pre selected secluded cove to await the team. Thursday August 19th1453 The Blue Flying Fish returns to Lisbon with Henry the Navigator. The team convinces Sapphira to us one of her high level Half Dragon Clerics to resurrect BoomBox the Bard, they restock the Blue Flying Fish for a long trip to the West by South West. BoomBox the Bard is grateful, as this is his 3rd time returning from death. King Alfonso is so moved that he orders him new clothes to be made by his own personal tailor, and gifts him +2 magic gauntlets. They send the Brass Lady Dragon Noria back to the Greek Island of Chios to use the Portal there to return to the "Forgotten Realms". She takes the bag of holding containing Tiamat's egg with her. Friday October 1st 1453 The Blue Flying Fish with the help of a "Modern Magic Sexton" supplied by Henry the Navigator she starts her voyage west. After the Blue Flying Fish lost a mast in the storm, the team desperate to survive call out to the "God controlling the storm and ask what it wants?" The God Replies in Draconic "BLOOD" The team convince Albertus to use one of his 42 "Calling Gems" he received while pole dancing as a 20' crocadile in the House of Dragons to summon an adult Black Dragon. Flat footed and expecting something else, the team "Wound it" and the bleeding dragon is pushed overboard into the storm.... "YUM" is the reply from the deity controlling the storm and the crippled Airship is set down on a Jungle Mountain top....
